This page explains how to sign in to your BlockFi account, set up and reset two-factor authentication (2FA), troubleshoot common login issues, and recover access if you're locked out. Follow these steps carefully and always verify you are on BlockFi's official website before entering credentials.

How to log in (desktop & mobile)

  1. Open your browser and go to https://blockfi.com/login.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your BlockFi account.
  3. Type your password into the password field. Tip: use a password manager to auto-fill safely.
  4. If prompted, complete two-factor authentication (2FA) using your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) or SMS code if you enrolled SMS verification.
  5. Click Sign In. If credentials are correct and 2FA verifies, you'll be routed to your dashboard.

If you use a mobile app, open the official BlockFi app and follow equivalent steps from the app sign-in screen.

Troubleshooting common login problems

If you can’t sign in, try the following in order:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) & 2FA reset

2FA substantially increases account security. If you have lost access to your authenticator app or phone:

  1. Use any backup 2FA recovery codes you saved when enabling 2FA.
  2. If no backup codes are available, follow BlockFi's official 2FA reset process via their support portal — expect to verify identity (photo ID, email confirmation, account history) for security.
  3. Avoid sending sensitive documents over unsecured channels—use BlockFi’s secure support page only.
